Dolfos Tempranillo


A young fruit forward wine made from 100% Tempranillo from Fariña's own vineyards.

The Fariña family have always understood the fundamental role vineyards play in making fine wine. For that reason care of the vineyards is almost a daily obsession throughout the entire year. The winery owns 300 hectares of vineyards in addition to buying in grapes from long term grape growing partners. The Fariña family control and advise the grape growers at all stages so that they produce the quality required.

Fariña´s own vineyards are situated in different areas with different soils and microclimates which adds complexity to the Dolfos range. They are the first trellised vineyards planted in the region and follow a “nuture nature” philosophy, unique in the region.


Tasting notes:

Bright cherry red colour with purple hints. Red berry fruits and floral notes on the nose. On the palate is solft, juicy and ripe.


Consume: 1 -3 years following the harvest

Serving Temperature: 15 - 18ºC

Alcohol: 12,5%
